Krit is very underrated and very appreciated, such an odd position. I listen to him on the regular, and I’d never argue with anyone who put him on the top of their list.
Man Juicy J used to be annoying as shyt Dude in his 40s talkin about he gettin trippy :mjtf: Real Mid Life crisis rap

Everywhere...You never there.
My problem with rap fans over the last 10 to 15 years is they’ll let a nikka have a whole career worth of music then be taking about the rapper is underrated lol. Like Krit was right there! He could have and should have blown up big! Worse rappers have blown up and fallen off, and people only give props to Drake, Kendrick, and Cole. I never was a huge Krit fan but I can acknowledge that he made some good ass music. That king remembered in time mixtape is harder than most of these rappers full albums out here. Cadillactica? Hard AF. This song should’ve have put him on another level

but people wanted that bullshyt smh.
How he the southern version of Nas when he ain’t touched no level of Nas success?:mjlol: Rap fans these days are something else.

im sayin tho lol

Krit is incredibly consistent . He really hasn’t moved the needle at all tho ... and the homie went too far with the corny comment ,but I do get where he’s coming from as the other homie said .

Respect Krit for what he’s done . And that’s it.

I would say he's become forced almost caricature like. I was listening to breh from See Me On Top Vol 2 and he was (at the time) the perfect balance of street conscious. After The Vent off Return of 4Eva he started feeling himself too much and his music suffered from it. Became too pretentious and boring for my liking. KWH, and Return are forever classics though.

Well said .

that's fine just like i don't think the south collectively is exactly hailing little brother as some all time great southern rap group, they're in the same exact lane b

regardless though? elec is certified southern born and bred so he is in fact eligible to be a southern nas just like krit da gawd
jay elec is a southern killah priest more than anything else

Seeing some of the sentiment on Krit, I’m confused how j Cole got so popular... unless there’s that much weight on the JayZ co-sign and those trash pop singles(and I like cole)

KRIT is underrated and mainstream wise he should be on the Drake, J Cole and Kendrick level

but he didn't have the major co sign like those 3 guys had

Drake= Wayne/Cash Money
J Cole= Jay/Roc Nation
Kendrick= Dre/Interscope

krit doesnt have much nas influence in his music at all. I dont even think nas is even one of his fav rappers.

Krit is basically a mixture of outkast x UGK really. In terms of how he can rap and have cadence like outkast and then make music like UGK.

Guy is unapologetically southern its hard to compare him to non-south acts
