If they were smart they’d draft a guy, but Goff has played well as of late especially this last quarter of the season.They in a weird spot
On one hand they have a placeholder QB that they don't think they can build with, but he's playing well enough to keep his job
Meanwhile they aren't really lacking at other positions on the field, they have good, young, promising talent at pretty much every element of the game. So it's hard to see them progressing as a team without getting a more dynamic QB
It's similar to what Minnesota is dealing with in cousins but they happened to strike gold with jefferson
Ballgame.
Edit: Could it be that maybe, just maybe Detroit ended up better off without Stafford?
