The rivalry continues. The youngest team in the NFL, the Green Bay Packers, are in the Pacific Northwest for an SNF showdown with the NFC West leading Seattle Seahawks.
IF the postseason began tonight, this would be the Wild Card matchup between the 6th seed and the 3rd seed in the NFC.
Green Bay has beaten everyone except the best teams in the NFC (Eagles, Lions, and Vikings). Discipline and mistakes have cost them wins against higher talented teams. LaFleur has done an outstanding job keeping the team afloat despite Jordan Love's injury and the loss of superstar CB Jaire Alexander. Josh Jacobs has led the offense at times to big wins.
Seattle has remained steady atop the NFC West. They've swept the Cardinals in the last month but the Rams are right behind in the standings. Geno Smith has been able to put points up on the board with his weapons. They are facing a Packers team without its top corner.
But the Seahawks will only win if they can stop the run. After the Bills destroyed them weeks ago, they have improved their defense against the run.
LaFleur will want to run it to lower the risk of more Jordan Love INTs.
