Interesting read. I've heard of this guy but never found much info on him.

Saw the name before, until the unveiling of the street sign years ago I did not know who he was.

His backstory and history seems remarkably similar to Jean Baptiste Pointe Dusable.

History acknowledges Dusable, but completely ignores Rodriguez.
