What the fukk?

Why would he do that?

They treated him poorly, and according to him he almost died based on the doctor they had, Vince cost him millions, tied him in litigation for years, he lost his best friend Colt Cabana (who is suing him now) and made him go beg to UFC for some fights where he got his ass beat.

He hates Vince, Triple H, the whole WWE system. He sued them. And he is back now after he had a chance to screw them in AEW?

Someone get in here and explain this shyt to me. Maybe some of y'all young people maybe in college and are taking some Psych classes. Maybe some of you in the police force who have seen some abused people, because this shyt does not make sense to me.

Only thing I could think of that hasn't already been mentioned is the fear of the unknown. He was approached before the company was announced and pieces of the puzzle (i.e. TV deal, first show, how company would be booked, etc.) in place.

He salty that AEW isnt running around begging and kissing his ass so thats a blow to his ego.. Cody probably went :yeshrug: lets keep it moving.

Now he wants to talk this shyt now that he back with the WWE. He kissed that ring.

That really sounded like a Phil moment to the tenth level. :wow:At Cody straight up treating Punk like Jaz-O and shyt. Even Cody and Khan knows dude is wild washed in 2019. Once the novelty wears off the first few weeks of Backstage, dude will be jobbing to Rollins because you are Vince's bytch :camby:

No one watches Backstage, WWE doesn't promote it, no one gives a shyt about it and no one cared about Punk coming back because no one watches it.

All facts

They might get 200k viewers but watch it go back to 50-150k soon after and settle there. Fox will quickly realize its overpaying for a show advertisers are practically paying peanuts to play ads now. Fox will soon realize that overpaying for the WWE diffusion rights is a colossal mistake and a giant fukk up

1) AEW offered him a deal to wrestle. Punk has indicated he does not want to wrestle anymore. He prefers doing commentary.

2) He technically didn't go back to WWE. Backstage is a Fox gig, not a WWE gig. He's employed Fox, not Vince & co.

These two points exactly. Also would like to add:

3) Lots of his recent interviews he has been surprised about how some of the things he quit over have now been fixed in WWE to some extent. He may feel like he's made a difference and is willing to begin a bridge. If you watch the youtube videos around his debut on the Fox show, he is clearly in his feelings about coming back to do the tiniest thing related to WWE, and might feel like it's time to start forgiving and forgetting.

4) He does not like how Tony and Cody will exchange like one text with him and then they go on media interviews and say they have a great relationship and they were just talking not too long ago etc.. You can totally tell Punk prefers trustworthy people who will keep their business private until it's done.
