Oh i didn't get what you were saying, but you are right, most of the PR culture is directly descended from the Africans who were brought in after most of the Taino indians died but there's some things that the Tainos left behind are still relevant and some merged with the african culture. The word barbecue literally comes direct from the Tainos but even then Africans perfected that lol. You right though, it is mostly African culture, it's just a shame that a lot of Caribbean latinos deny their African heritage in order to be closer and more accepted by white.
