While we're on the subject, fukk Herc's bytchass. Dude was a terrible cop

The show actually tied each character on the wire to real life. Herc was supposed to be that guy who no matter what he did he never changed, every officer learned something except Herc...dude was just out for himself as you can see that when he fukks the whole case up against Marlo at the end of the show. How do you fukk a case you worked on up? :snoop: Herc is without a doubt the worst character on that show. Dude is a living example of a static character.

Had me dying when he was playing with the machine that makes faces with those kids trying to make a dime chick.

All 4 kids are set up to become another character on the show. It's more or less their final "the game is the game" point

Randy is in line to become Prop Joe
Michael becomes Omar
Dukie becomes Bubbles
Namond either is saved from his continuum by god-intervention (this is a nod to death of a salesman, a streetcar named desire, and waiting for godot) or he becomes a Royce, Burell type. I'm not 100% sure where they were going with this.

Now, the Randy/Prop Joe thing needs a little more explaining. First watch this:

Pretty similar to Randy in the beginning of season four. It's not hard to imagine that a traumatic event happened to Joe a few years after that and it hardened him up, just like what happened to Randy at the end of season 4. Between his sense for business and his new hardness, I like Randy's odds in the dope game.

I'm thinking Namond becomes Norman Wilson (Administrative Aide dude who helped Carcetti win Mayor's office).
