And not only just the wage gap, the difference in wealth (which is not the same thing as income) is a lot more than what many Black Americans are aware of.
Too many of us think because we can work at some of the same places as Kathy and Brad that everything's "equal" now. They get paid more on average just for being white, yes white women included, and they generally have more wealth, even the ones who you think wouldn't. nikkas also don't think about the fact that white ppl are the ones who are in most of the top/higher positions in these businesses. There are some blacks here and there but for the most part they try to keep ppl who look like themselves as higher ups.
Black ppl who really believe because we can work in the white man's businesses (that they own), can move to their neighborhoods (that they own), eat in their establishments (that they own), etc that everything's "equal" are delusional as fukk yo.
