It's funny tho. Wade won't have a problem taking a paycut seeing as it will likely result into trips to the NBA finals.

Meanwhile Kobe making 30 million and his team can't even sign/trade another promising young player.

Lakers have 50mil in cap space this summer. enough for 2 max players and a 3rd around 12mili. jerry buss has been planning for this FA run since 2010

thank god we didnt sign dwight :blessed:

“We purposely ended all contracts that year,” Buss said. “I can’t talk about Kobe (Bryant), but this is what he signed till. So basically we put everything to that, and we want to make a big splash in the free-agent market if we get to that spot. So we designed the contracts and the players and our future all around that….

“Yeah, depending on the free agents that year,” Buss said. “We would basically, money-wise, be able to sign the top free agent – maybe even two. I don’t know the numbers exactly, because we’re not privy to what the cap is and how much room we have, but it’s going to be close to two of the top free agents that year.”

I'm not comparing the two, I would never insult Wade like that. Wade is a proven leader and a good teammate. I was just referring to the fact Wade is still putting up numbers in big games while Kobe can't even make the playoffs with a loaded team. Hell Kobe can't even dribble the ball without his dentures falling out.

Name the year Kobe didn't make the playoffs with a loaded team.

Time for a factcheck.

They were going to miss the playoffs last year, then Kobe went out and the lakers ended on a win streak.

In 2005, he failed to make the playoffs despite having amazing talent like Lamar Odom and Caron Butler. Funny story, the lakers were playing well when Kobe went out with an injury, then he came back and the lakers lost like 19 of their last 21 games (because Kobe was back).

Bottom line: Kobe is a good individual player but a team cancer.

LOL. So lie #1 right there. Not only did they make the playoffs, but everyone knows that Kobe put that team on his back to even get them in position. Either way, you proved yourself wrong.

And in 2005-2006 the Lakers made the playoffs. Lost to the Suns in the playoffs.
And in case you meant 2004-2005, they had a starting lineup that had Chris Mihm at center and Chucky Atkins at point guard. Far from loaded.

Hi retard. Obviously 2005 playoffs would refer to the 2005 playoffs.

Also, the Lakers won AFTER kobe went out with an injury. THey were out of the playoffs UNTIL he decided to off himself. Who is this "everyone" that you speak of?

Also, in 2005, the lakers were playing at just over .500 and were in the 8th spot AFTER kobe went out for a few weeks. THen Kobe came back and they went on a huge losing streak. THe lakers were doing fine without the cancer.

You fukking asswipe, 2005 doesn't automatically mean 2005 playoffs. And Kobe was the only player producing at a high level when he got hurt. I doubt you even watch Laker games so your opinion on that is moot. He was the one that had them in position to even make he playoffs, playing ridiculous minutes and everything.
