Actually... RAMPAGE had the best verse on that joint. No one wants to come out and admit it, but everyone knows... dude's presence was all over that track and came out winning.

you can tell he needed cube and D.O.C. to pen those rhymes, i'm as willing to put money that that was one of the first attempts at penning a verse for himself

LL's verse on the "Flava In Ya Ear" Remix was both wack as hell and great at the same, damn, time.

That verse is the closest any rapper has ever come to the Ghostface "Scooby snack jurassic plastic gas booby trap" gibberish level. It's a classic just for the effect.

I think that verse is now widely considered the best/most memorable verse on the song and it's actually the verse Jay Z has the crowd do acapella in it's entirety at his concerts. And it's definitely not wack.
