He had a lot going on already, but being raped would cause him to react that way. Going through something traumatic doesn't mean you can't be tough or confident
Man or woman. It doesn't mean a person is "broken". It changes them and causes some rough days, but they can still live life. It doesn't mean they'll just be a nervous wreck or a shut in for the rest of their lives. You never know how many people of all walks of life are walking around having endured some of everything
