The main issue the UK Privvy council had was the jury misconduct the decision the judge made.

They weren’t concerned about the evidence put forward, in fact they found no issue with the submission of the phone evidence etc that the defence team were so adamant shouldn’t have been allowed.

And the final appeal verdict was centered around if a retrial was worth it…And the issues with getting a timely retrial and the issues with sentencing if they were found guilty.
Basically they said they couldn’t give me them the same or longer than what they had given them before.

And let’s say they got resentenced based on time served, some would pretty much have served their time or be close to have served the minimum term.
