been a VLC user since 2002. amazing program. this is what we should be using AI for, not goofy shyt.

i HATE the mac version. there must be a way to get the full right-click menu like on windows. you have to un-fullscreen and use the menu bar :why:

thats as good as it gets on mac

i think i might grab the source code and see if theres a config.h or some flags i can add to gcc and recompile it with more options

Sub titles is only the beginning but eventually they wont need voice actors at all for different language versions of films and shows. Just will need to create 1 AI voice for all the characters and tell them what language to speak in.

Back in the day, VLC used to be horrible at displaying subtitles. I haven't used it in awhile to see if it changed.

i started watching Boardwalk Empire this week (i know im very late here) and the torrent i grabbed didnt have subs so i got em online

the subtitles are accurate which is great. too bad they display about 22 seconds AFTER the dialogue has been spoken

kind of funny because it was displaying the subtitles from a sex scene during a murder!
