As a New Yorker, I sometimes forget how terrible and stupid the rest of the country is.

I don't support Vivek Ramaswamy in any way, whatsoever.
But this story just highlights how dumb and racist a lot of Americans are.

This country is so scared of a Muslim (any brown skinned person is a Muslim to these people) becoming president and instituting sharia law or something.

Meanwhile, Christian fascists have already been doing everything Americans fear a Muslim would. The most obvious restriction being women's reproductive rights.
