Was this really an issue tho? I never heard/read anyone say there was “competition.” Mania does well no matter what.

I think TKO just knows its smart business to have your major event by itself. If they can afford to push Mania season back a week or two to avoid unnecessary competition with NCAA why not? They will likely grab up a nice chunk of even more fans and definitely media outlets now that the Final Four won't be there to distract general sports viewers. Essentially all eyes will be on WWE, which is great business for them.

*they will technically still be competing with the 1st round of the NBA Playoffs but that's something they won't lose sleep over.

The city's entertainment tax will be ridiculous.

That's why I have to see ticket prices. I don't know if it's worth dropping 2-300 per ticket just to be in the building (nosebleed).

NOTE: Would feel differently if I lived in Vegas.

It's not about competition for the fans eyeballs, it's more about competition for media attention
