The situation in Israeli is a case of an ethnic majority oppressing minorities, nothing more nothing less. There are situations like that all over the middle east.. at a certain point the details are pretty much interchangeable.

There are situations like that all over the world. Thus you can not tolerate one form of racism, rationalize it as just the region, but then oppose it in other countries. It is all connected because the Israeli have their hands in the US pocket, but are not being checked for acts that we are supposedly fundamentally against

I don't think anyone has "problems" with people who are Jewish.... Its just a religion. Zionists are a different breed though... For example... I know an American Jewish Guy who got his ass beat and thrown in a Israeli prison because they were trying to evict Palestinians from their home and he stood in the way of the police and they put him in pain compliance holds and threw him in jail

I grew up in a Jewish neighborhood in Minneapolis, and went to a private school that was mostly Jewish as well... They are cool for the most part, until you meet their cousin, uncle, or grandparent from Israel who shares some of the same opinions that a racist Neo-con has....

and best believe a lot of these Jewish folks will treat you with respect on the outside, but on the inside they have the same potential of being an evil person as a "gentile" or anyone else...

Yup, it's straight up racism. I know this french girl of Jewish origin (parents are Egyptian and Moroccan jews I think, she grew up in Marseille) and she told me that the big problem in Israël is the influx of Eastern European Jews (Ashkenaze I think) who have been living in closed communities (and often discriminated against and massively deported/killed) and who therefore are much more closed, racist and "revengeful". On the other hand Jews from the Mediterranean (Seraphades I believe) have been living mostly peacefully with Muslims and Christians for centuries and are much more open. Problem is, the former outnumber the latter.
