Anton is a scarier character to me, because he represented chaos and disorder. In many ways he’s the opposite in Vincent.

Vincent was surgical and efficient, and didn’t try to go out of his way to kill bystanders. Anton left bystanders lives up to a coin toss. He was scarier and less predictable. Anton also seemed almost superhuman at times, like Michael Myers / The Shape.

Both are dope villains. 2 of my favorites ever. I voted for Anton but want it to be known that Vincent is both an underrated villain and an underrated Cruise performance. Edit: and the briefcase scene is one of the best gun-work scenes ever put to film. John Wick before John Wick type shyt.

Everyone always says Vincent is one of his most if not the most memorable role tho

That’s fair. I guess it does pop to mind pretty fast.

I assumed most people thought of Top Gun, Mission Impossible, Jerry Maguire, Last Samurai, or even his 80’s movies when they think of Tom Cruise.

You can definitely make the case for Mission Impossible and Top Gun
