A great passer? No

Terrible? No

Breh should at least have had an opportunity to develop, under Fisher was the worst place to be. His 7-9 bullshyt is contagious :scusthov:

His mobility didn't make up for his passing. He probably had the worst arm of any high draft pick or hyped guy I've ever seen.

Maybe another coach could have developed him to the point of his arm not being such a liability but I doubt it.

Even that Andy Reid regime that was great with QBs couldn't do anything with him. He was brutal when he got his shot to play with the Eagles.

He needed to get drafted by an open minded pro coach like jim Harbaugh, chip Kelly or pete Carroll type to be a long term nfl success. Media back then always dropped to their knees to take jeff fishers side no matter what.

Yup. These old school coaches are really hurting a lot of these athletic black QB's. Vince had his own issues but Fisher was a cock.

Is this another thread where we ignore Vince Young being terrible ?

He never was.... that racist Jeff Fisher demoralized his career, and Vince Young never was mentally right ever since. Keep in mind, this was the same dude that SAVED the Titans season after Fisher benched him for no gotdamn reason....

He did also have one year with Andy as a backup.

So Fisher went out of his way to make VY terrible at throwing the football because he's black?

Why was Vince horrendous when he got his opportunity with the Eagles?

Why didn't he make the Packers when he tried out?

He was a great college QB because he could run and the competition was low enough that his inability to pass didn't matter.

He a terrible pro QB because he couldn't throw the ball.

He was still effective no matter how bad his throwing motion looked

Muthafukkas so caught up in how VY played the position but failing to realize he was a winner. He had a 30-17 W/L record as the Titans starter with a Pro Bowl appearance

Instead of working with Vince and building around his talents and letting him do what he's good at it, they sabotaged him and ran him out of town

They had a good team and wanted a good QB to go with it

No different than Tebow. He won games and his team wanted to have a good QB to go with their team.

Having a QB who can't throw limits everything you can do offensively.

If you're winning games with a guy who can't throw, it's very easy to understand the thought process of " we would be even better with someone who can throw".

He got other shots and wasn't good enough there either
