Makes no sense for dude to just want to leave on his own volition considering he was having a decent run on TV. Never looked bad even when he would lose.

They even played to his strengths most of the time. Something doesn’t add up here imo

It all depends on the money, I've read dude was still on that 205 deal (which is peanuts) and that WWE isn't offering any pay raise to anyone.

Considering he can land a decent deal somewhere else instead of signing long term for scraps in the E' (and knowing he could probably come back as a trainer like Hero did) and that he can get some nice indy gigs in 2021, I get him not resigning.

Who's gonna be D-Bry's next project before he goes home to be a family man once again? :bryan:

It was reported by the Observer that Ellering, daughter to WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering, was given two options a few weeks back. There's no word on those exact options, but both of them reportedly had her getting released. Ellering reportedly chose one of those options, and was then released.

That made me laugh for some reason :heh:

Drew is betting on himself, can't fault him for that :ehh:

I guess, it's a weird situation because he can't bet on himself and go work because nowhere else is running shows and who knows how long it will be before smaller companies start running shows again, so his only options for now are: Re-sign without a raise that he no doubt deserves, don't re-sign and not get paid for who knows how long or hope AEW will throw him a bone which seems unlikely because Cody hates him for some petty bullshyt. This is pretty much the worst possible time for his contract to run out: 3 months ago or 3 months from now he'd almost assuredly re-sign with a solid pay bump.

Didn't he choose to leave?:patrice:

They're killing him in the comments right now:pachaha:

He just let his deal expire & didn't re-sign, but that doesn't help the weirdo narrative Alvarez is trying to push right now. His new thing is claiming that everybody they released recently was because those are the people that complained about something.

Alvarez has been slowly losing his mind more & more (along with the whole Meltzer crew) since AEW started. He's been giving out about them stripping Sami Zayn if the IC belt recently & can't figure out if it's a shoot or a work even though their doing the exact same storyline in NXT right now. He said the other day that they'll turn it into a storyline later so even if he's right that their punishing him for not working right now, he'll look wrong even though he's right.
