Jesus, so they were solid and still fired nikkas just to turn a profit?

How can you root for this company at this point

Don’t get me wrong, I‘ll still watch because I support and love the talent there that makes the wheels spin, but the company itself and people in charge are literal shyt.

If there's karma then Vince catches the rona...and you know what that means.

I feel for anyone losing their job in this time but pretty shameful by Vince here given on the one hand they play the "we're a big family" card and then on the other hand do this. Granted, a lot of these guys weren't doing anything anyway, but at least keep them on payroll on their downside until this ends and they will have other ways (AEW, Impact, ROH, indies, Japan, Europe, etc) to feed their families.

Maybe that's what needs to happen for change:ld:

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the history of the WWE for some of the good, but come one the bad just don't provide much care for Ace:huhldup:. Maybe it's time for the indies to merged from the bottom sort of like the revenge of the territories. Hell, Impact of all places actually got it right:why:. They have almost a month and some change of tapings that can last through the pandemic until things get a bit stable. WWE in a way got too greedy and the stomach pretty much exploded. If yall keep tabs on my posts, the writing was on the wall. They got too full of themselves to understand that all of this balling and trying to become a megacorporation is not going to work without a bit of a back up plan. The entire business being over because the WWE could fumble the ball is not going to happen on a carny's watch. There will be another company that will fill those shoes. It's almost like WWE lived by WCW's sword and Flair flopped faced first on the sword.

Exactly..... if the WWE ended today. It’s not a wrap for the business.

They are definitely big business but they are THE BUSINESS.

The over exaggerating is crazy

That man is part of a team which is gonna reopen the economy. If this is a signal of how things gonna be...

I was about to make a YouTube video (and I still am) based off Tommy Dreamer saying that people were going to be released, but I didn't expect this today.

It's a weird feeling. For some guys I'm happy that they were released because they were being wasted in the company (still, I know that guaranteed money is better than no money). For others, I don't really know what to think because progressing is always been this thing where it's kind of like a revolving door. Luke Gallows for example has been in the WWE so many times, that I know that he can always come back eventually. Him and Karl Anderson can easily go back to Japan once things normalize over there. But then again Karl Anderson has like five young kids in the USA so he probably wants to stay around them.

I'll touch more on this when I release my video on Saturday, but certain stars should probably have been kept such as Drake Maverick, Lio Rush, Rowan, etc.

Guys like Fit Finlay, Kurt Angle, and Mike Keota (sp) should never have even been on the chopping block.

a tweet earlier in the thread said people were offered good money on the way out. And as fans, honestly, if you want to see WWE in the future, you're gonna need them to have at least some semblance of cash reserves on deck. They can't just blow money on talent sitting on couches, when nobody is giving any real time table on when shyt should open back up. And to be fair, most of the releases probably saw it coming. I haven't seen a real shocker yet.

They've got half a billi :mjtf:

That saudi bloody money doesn't go far enough?

Maybe stop cutting big checks for washed up part timers and MMA fighters.
