I think deep down he hates the fact that all his shows are predominantly white kids and they rap the N word

He said that damn near verbatim on his song Lift me up "all these white folks chanting when i ask where my nikkas at....going crazy....got me going crazy....i cant get with that"

What’s crazy is he has to perform for whites just to make money but at the same time hates his fan base

He probably feels like a minstrel show

The tempo and general vibe of his music (and his personality) is very conducive to suburban and/or white people. But the content of his music isn't. Which is where his problem is.

Whether it's a joke, a song or some insight he's sharing, he delivers in a way white people can understand, but the messaging is always clearly street, black and sometimes insightfully conscious.

You can clearly tell from the bars and his life story he's probably way closer to a gangbanger than a Mac Miller, but he just has a personality and the delivery of a Mac Miller.

Tough spot to be in I guess.
