Gangster Vince before the bullshyt music is a top 5 on the West Coast artist.

Top 5 on the West Coast of all time

If I had to put a modern rapper on that list it'd be YG. Vince has never, not once, had the impact or quality of YG's music.

A little bit? :heh:

I know mfs aren't putting Vince Staples over The Game or even The Hieroglyphics cmon lmao. He doesn't have the discography, and there are too many rappers with amazing careers that should be considered for that tenth spot.

Jay Rock has better albums than Vince:stopitslime:

Impact no, but quality absolutely

YG slowly fell off gradually...Staples just put out two fire projects in a row. They may not be for you but they(especially Ramona Park) got rave reviews by word of mouth and critics.

I've been a fan since high school, I'm just saying he's very one dimensional and whenever he tries to branch out production wise, it often results in his worst albums (Big Fish Theory, Prima Donna). He's a critical darling, but his music has zero staying power or legacy, it's fun for a day or two then you move on. My personal favorite is FM!, that's a solid collection of excellent songs from top to bottom. Imo his last 2 albums are like Mr. Morale, hip-hop Oscar bait.
