Attitude Era was the peak of wrasslin
in terms of what? ratings?
most of the wrestling was garbage until 2000 when they started "raiding' talent. it was like a completely different show;
but i do respect russo's pen game. i think the difference with him in the wwf is that he had a filter. plus wcw & tna crowds arent big on that over-the-top sports entertainment chit.
Pace. I go back and watch these matches and they just had a different workrate about them. I could get an entertaining match out of bob holly vs DLo with good booking within the match itself. I was one who thought the matches would suck if I went back and watched them, but nah they hold up really well...Its the storylines that make you cringe..
Man...WCW 2000 wasn't even bad. I just re-watched Fall Brawl 2000 recently, Steiner vs Goldberg was a GOAT level match/feud. Filthy Animals was a great stable and I liked The Natural Born Thrillers as well. Booker T's main event run was good shyt. WCW 2000 is really underrated.
You just don't agree with my opinions, which is fine. I could turn it around and say 99% of TSC is wrong and I'm right but I ain't that petty.Man...
You're really just...always wrong

What about Booker T's run in 2000 was bad? Scott Steiner had a GOAT level run in 2000. If Russo and David Arquette didn't win the WCW title people would have a much more favorable opinion of WCW in 2000. In reality those were minor events, most of the shows weren't bad at all and a few of them were really good. At the very least, 2000 WCW is unprecedented fukkery, and it should at least get credit for being entertaining. If Goldberg didn't smash his hand through that window, 2000 could have been a good year for WCW.
Man what's the deal with this narrative that people only watch NXT because it has the E attached to it?
Well no shyt, accessibility is a big deal. But if you tell indy heads that they can watch Kevin Steen, Samoa Joe, Nakamura, Prince Devitt, El Generico, PAC, Uha Nation, Austin Aries, etc. all on one show with woman's wrestling that actually matters well I think that would succeed anywhere. But keep in mind that it's the E machine that has enough cash to have all those guys under one roof in their primes.
Hmm? Nothing struck a nerve, this has been said all over the net for a couple of years. The point is you get to see top tier guys on one show with greater availability to watch so that shouldn't be a negative to people who enjoy it. Injuries and other movement keep them from all being there but numbers don't lie. NXT by themselves can sell out full arenas and their house show tours because of the talent level they have. The fans like the product and pay to see it. Now with woman's wrestling NXT is really the top as far as reconization, main event placement, and booking. ROH tells you to watch Shimmer, LU takes another approach with everything being intergender (I think it's the best show anyway), and TNA had their knockouts as the highest rated performers and they fell back on that since the 2010s to the point were it's not on the same level as NXT at its best.i see that comment struck a nerve.
and youre reaching for straws in defense. all those names werent on NXT at the same time. hell, other promotions probably had more of those guys at once, along with the women's wrestling. so why didnt you watch?
samoa joe is magically in his prime again?
Ruthless Aggression is GOAT, Attitude Era is the next best thing though (WCW >>> WWF).

As for today, I like TNA and Lucha Underground but that's about it. Lucha Underground probably has better matches but I like TNA better overall just slightly.
1. TNA
2. Lucha Underground
3. WWE
4. ROH
I don't know enough about modern NJPW to rank it.
