Jim Cornette revealed on his latest podcast some ideas that Vince Russo pitched for Shotgun Saturday Nights early run in bars/nightclubs. Here are some of Vince Russos ideas for the show.

•A Shotgun Saturday Night exclusive Title which would be a badge, and could only be challenged for on SSN

•The Shotgun Saturday Night title holder would be known as the Shotgun Saturday Night “tough man”

•A wild card extra match, which entails that every 5 minutes a new wrestler would enter to mess with the 1V1 match

•The last match of the night would have a clock detailing how much time remains in the TV broadcast, with the match starting with a shotgun blast sound and ending with a shotgun blast sound

•A “Two minutes with Jake the Snake” match, wherein if you cannot defeat Jake the Snake within two minutes you would have to leave the WWF

•”You call the spot match” where you must do the move the crowd chants for no matter what

•Guess Yokozunas weight, and the winner gets a free sushi dinner

•Put jobbers on a scale until they match Yokozunas weight, then have the match between the job guys and Yoko

What do you guys think about some of these ideas?

- wild card match could be done right
- 2 mins with Jake the Snake (or whoever) isn't bad
- call the spots match imagine the crowd chanting "Shooting Star Press!" for an Omos vs Otis match
- all the Yokozuna shyt made me legit laugh out loud too bad wrestlers that fat these days would be a liability
- refs with big titties is a good idea, same with the striptease match, wrestling needs sex appeal again
- flashlight match could be an okay concept
