I forgot the story on why Lex didn’t win the belt at Summerslam, I’m sure one of you guys do...

But just like Booker T at ‘Mania...and I know that’s an Entirely different situation...but this is one of those cases where no matter how predictable, you HAD to go with your proposed end result. In my mind, you don’t have Luger turn face suddenly on some “USA!” shyt, slam Yoko in this over-the-top scenario, have that damn tour bus zig zagging the country, and NOT give the man that title. Even if it’s a short run, we should’ve gotten that visual.

Vince’s booking killed Lex.

As The Narcissist, Lex should have been the heel embodiment of the 80s muscle heads. Heel Lex going up against the smaller stars of the New Generation would have printed money. It made no sense turning him face like that, especially after Lex had just done the best heel work of his career in WCW.
