I believe the story was that the WCW PPV was the same day as Stephanie’s college graduation so that’s why he didn’t go. If not that, Vince would’ve definitely went.

I read that when Vince got punted in the head by Randy Orton, he told him to kick him as hard as he could.

He got a legit concussion out of it.

CM Punk was at a Con in 2015, and when he and Vince were going to have their match, he said they were in the gorilla position and Vince came up to him and said "This is what I want you do, Phil. At some point during the match...I just want you to rear back as far as you can and really punch me in the face!
