I think it's partly the current model, where there is so much content being put out there's no way for anything to really end, but it's also as simple as Vince now books like a Southern promotion, which very rarely sent the crowds home happy and would draw out the pay off as long as possible and then immediately switch gears and start a new angle.

Also partly because Vince is an old man being contrary and has disdain for his annoying modern audience

Legit, I'm totally :dwillhuh: by it all. So is this why we now have 50/50 booking.

The value of every show is a one off performance and you send the live audience home happy vs they sticking with storytelling and TV tropes, where someone is going to be unhappy whatever the outcome due to the direction of the storyline. Which happens in any TV show, with cliffhangers and conclusions.

They just don't know how to write and execute storytelling properly. It shouldn't be that hard to map out over a 4-6 week period, as a story has 3-5 acts to it.

The face and heel trade tit for tat comeuppances on one another over a fortnight period, then the heel does a number on the face, the following week or 2 later, the face comebacks, showing they might be down but not out, as they have a light exchange, but not on the scale of what the heel did to the face the 2nd time around. And then the face gets a bigger form of retribution at the big show.

:flabbyvince: Has always hated the audience though for not going along with whatever he decides to book.

So this confirms what I thought. They do "fukk you" booking specifically to piss people off. :hhh:

They do that, and then they forget that at some point, the babyface is supposed to overcome the odds and triumph. Or they just forget writing a coherent story with legs and move on after the heel gets their way.

This is WWE in 2018. :mjcry:

It's just stale because it's the same format and vision since 2002... Let's look at history...there were two big surges in wrestling history...the rock and wrestling Hogan 80s era and the Monday night wars....what do both have in common....drastic and sudden change... Wrestling did a 180 from just a few years prior... They need to change the presentation and creative direction to keep it fresh..everything has a expiration..
