Remember when Survivor Series was the bees knees instead of a glorified Raw/Smackdown show. Two teams duking it out for supremacy because wrestling. The main events could make or break the future of the company (Taker beating Hogan, Montreal Screwjob, Bret/Austin first encounter). Like what the hell happened?

Lesnar vs Goldberg 3 "the rubber match"Too bad Roman didn't get that mumps or meningitis shyt right before mania for fukkery reasons of course
Yup. He's gonna win the rumble and Roman will get an automatic match against Brock cause he also pinned the Undertaker at Wrestlemania...so we could possibly have REIGNS & CENA leaving Wrestlemania 34 as champsCena vs Jnder never got a proper conclusion because of Corbin
Plus Cena still has to break Flair record and after Cena had to put over Roman at No Mercy you no damm well there going to make him look strong when he returns. So having him as the special ref seem the most obvious over Austin or Rock.
Great PostIf true.
This is why this company is inept and self limiting. As it had a better more natural and intriguing match to offer with:
Shinsuke vs Brock
As both were the domestic and iwgp youngest hw wrestling champions of all time. Where Brock won the first encounter way before shinsuke hit his next sweet spot as the king of strong style.
WWE is so busy trying to sloe bury all its talent. So it can never be a draw bigger than the company and the son in law itself. They continue to either shield the public by internally never offering us simple natural Indy based builds and continuity to sell matches.
This match is the easiest main event to build and one that made logical sense. Especially as far as brock's dominance is marketed and the arrival of shinsuke. Should mark WWE looking to actually show it is a global company from a quality stand point. Not just a simple carni based company. That only get revenue via marketing feature campaigns.
This company missed its big opportunity at a big four ppv pr drawing annual flagship event. To market fans simple.big build based contest that make sense.
Yet since the WWE still only likes to market its self more than its actual contractors. We get yet another internal in house WWE star based event. Instead of and favor over the more logical higher build based event. That centers around building a draw from a perspective that adds intrigue to the company via real interest that makes logical sense from natural narratives. Not forced or implied.
Just to keep other non WWE created contractors from having an opportunity to be a draw in the mainstream.
This company is falling for the marketing ad revenue based trap. Where if they do not discontinue that ideal. They will normalize their drawing ability and never re-amplify their profile to relevancy.

It's just really sad because this match could've meant more or been more wanted if they would've built Jinder up correctly. He went from Jobber to contender in one night, but we were all interested because the story was different and they had him doing cool shyt at first. Then it just became repetitive and stupid.Preciate it handshake.
WWE is starting to continue their WWE in house only ideal even more. Yet after being exposed in general.
The wwe in house created workers will only have a work rate quality legacy of green at best. Which, is why they have leaned on second Gen family based performers to mask this. Yet, this whole idea that WWE could fake build all its greatest draws internally. to keep the creative license of the character in house and exclusive to the wwe should be limited. As it ruins the product via quality. as those principals in general lack the experience and teeth cutting required to actually draw on this stage. Which thus brings down, the ability of the company. to be viewed in the long term as a quality product.
WWE has tried to coup the workrate of the Indy heroes, but it will not work. Simply because you have to cut your teeth to be a great performer on this stage of draw.

When he eventually drops the belt he'll probably end up like Jack SwaggerIt's just really sad because this match could've meant more or been more wanted if they would've built Jinder up correctly. The most idiotic part about it is that he is the champ, but they still treat him like a midcarder or even a jobber by the way they showcase him from week to week. Why is the WWE champion not in the main story of the show? Why is the champion shown in the middle of the show instead of the opening or the main event? They could've actually created a new real star if the made him more credible off rip, but I'm using logic to ask questions about the WWE![]()
I would not be surprised. I actually expect it, which is sad, because he was getting great heat at first. They could've built on that but they instead chose to have him do the same stupid shyt every week instead of progressing on what they already hadWhen he eventually drops the belt he'll probably end up like Jack Swagger
