Miz is at the point of no return.

This is the reason why in wrestling over the years, wrestlers get repackaged with masked gimmicks, or something else comepletely opposite of the character they once were.....that way no one(no casual fans at least) knows who they are. Once the audience doesnt like you, they don't like you. Turning face or heel wont changed much, nor will a monster push.
