Back in the days of the '90s and '00s, getting dunked on was embarrassing and soul-crushing, like getting beat up in the hallway in high school with everybody circling around, watching, and recording on their phones , but nowadays, it doesn't seem that way.

These days, a player gets dunked on, and they'll just pretend it either never happened or just chalk it up to the game.
