My cliff's notes from the game (KFTV recap article coming soon):

- Brunson and Randle look fine repeating last season's success, and Randle's shot selection was especially nice.

- RJ made the corner kickout read on drives...it's the lowest possible hurdle that he could clear in terms of improvement, but that makes it an easily attainable goal.

- Grimes' step-back three was the best footwork of the night (including Brunson's hesitation move and Randle's baseline spin which were both filthy).

- Mitch is as strong as last year, but looks more mobile. He was getting around the court (ie: the three-pointer he blocked).

- IQ seemed like he was confident he could score any time we needed.

- I think the closest we'll get to motion offense is when Josh Hart, Donte DiVincenzo, and I-Hart share the floor for the second unit. Those dudes all move the ball, move without the ball, and make unselfish decisions.

Disclaimer: It's one game against backups. All of this can be taken with a grain of salt until it turns into repeated success.
