In recent years? Breh, you just described Spidey up till like Civil War. Like 6-7 yrs ago. Recently, his shyt is piff. spider-Island. Big time. The new Spidey series. nikka, just stop. Venom is fukking garbagebruh spiderman these last couple years has been trash, first this nikka loses all his new powers and memories cuz he makes a deal with mephisto of all fukking people in marvel, then the civil war shyt and he's acting like a bytch, now he has doc ock controling his body and fukking his girlparker is a loser b, meanwhile the venom symbiote clapping nikkas up fused to flash thompson and eddie brock is fused to the toxin symbiote now shyt is legit more interesting

As far as the joker, overall batman is more entertaining but in the two batman movies joker stole the show IMO
whats that spider island jawn about? i just know hes dead or some shyt and octavius is making moves slapping up logan and shyt, i kinda stopped being a marvel head once i got in my teens and switched over to liking dc when the justice league cartoon came out the new 52 universe is fukking crazy
Spider Island is piff. It's the story that made me get back into comics, honestly. The premise just...sounds kinda corny though. Pretty much something is going down in NYC where normal everyday citizens are getting Spidey powers. It's just a really good story and its nice to see ol dude Peter be a big time hero.
And read the Superior Spiderman. Not too late to get into it. It's just 4 issues in I believe. Doc Ock as Spidey...I absolutely hated the idea at first, but breh that shyt is so funny and clever at times, I can't help but love it

I'd say this is true for the villains that ain't stans of whatever heroes they usually fight. Doom, Thanos and maybe Magneto are the two that I can think of that is on some I do what I want shyt. Thanos is the one cat that constantly wins even when he loses cause he's happy if someone kills him.
Other than that a lot of villains got that Joker type stockholm syndrome when it comes to the heroes. They could be doing whatever they want all over the world, but they stay in the exact place to catch the eye of the dude that knows them the best only to get caught over and over again.
