:leon:Cool. In exchange, i would have a couple requests
-dont wear nikes. Buy your shoes from a black manufacturer, one that doesnt use the perpetual underclass of a country to further capitalism.

-leave the strippers alone. Surround yourself with perpetually clean people, lest your message be tainted and ignored.

-show some receipts on where the school money is. Is it still locked away for use or are the funds in circulation?

I can probably think of more things, but he does all of those, I will follow his path.

:dahell: how does any of this negate what he said?

It doesn't necessarily negate his opinion, but when he puts a spotlight on traitors and whatnot, you have to question the source. If his opinion that it is the ultimate betrayal of the black race, which is fair, then it would be saying that a man who participates is traitorous, potentially untrustworthy, etc.

Then we ask ourselves, should we take moral guidance from a man who cavorts with strippers, supports a brand that is pretty much synonymous with avarice and poor priorities within the black community, and all the while his supporters have no idea the status of the funds collected under the premise of building a school.

He can simply state the importance of loving your community first and the promote black progression. Instead, he makes an enemy of a black people who date others, essentially appointing himself a moral authority in that aspect. As such, is he the model we should follow, or is he doing the most to shame folks, rather than paint a picture as to why what he finds important is a better way.

At some point within the first 2:30 of the video, he says that white women marrying black men do it out of power and economics.
If it was really about love, where are all the rich white women marrying poor black men?

:dwillhuh:

I don't know much about Umar Johnson...nor am I saying he's right, but :jbhmm:
