The only person who should be receiving backlash from that video is Solange. She physically attacked JayZ which is wrong regardless of how mad she was about whatever. I am happy that JayZ did not respond with violence because he had everything to lose in that situation. To try to disparage him for not slapping her or knocking her out is foolish. Also, to try to blame Beyonce for her sister's actions and say she "ain't shyt" for not responding physically (esp when they have hired help to do so) is stupid.
From the extended video it's very clear that Beyonce is responding to situation verbally (we even see Solange yelling in both of their directions). We have no idea what Beyonce was saying and whether she was trying to diffuse the situation. We also clearly see in the extended video that as Solange is yelling and aggressively moving closer to Jay, Beyonce also moved even closer to Jay to block. Beyonce even gets back on the elevator and stands in front of Solange so that the situation doesn't escalate again.
Everyone isn't going to respond to a situation the same. Solange and Beyonce are like complete opposites. I don't know the full story, but based on this video Solange is the person in the wrong for putting her hands on someone. Everything else is just speculation and trash talking.
