you guys could b right
the people who founded and study loop quantum gravity and relational interpretation of quantum mechanics aren't physicist at all, but are religious nutjobs.
Thomas Young and Carlo Rovelli are both idiots and any conclusion made is without a doubt absolutely incorrect -- even if we don't know for certain why we see results like this; and this isn't one of the most amazing things in science.
@
squiddyB your interpretation of quantum mechanics isn't anything that I've read before (at least the way you say it) and is not even correct. They left detectors on and turned the recorder on and off producing two different results while recording or not recording; but the main point was that particles can act like both waves and particles.

I'm not so much an 'observer' type of person to where I would make the claim that the mere observation is what caused the change. But I don't think we have clear cut explanations.

the mechanic
Werner Heisenberg was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1932 "for the creation of quantum mechanics" ... yet his views on the universe, religion, and mysticism would get clowned in closed-minded realm of HL.
We seem to be fooling ourselves into believing that the founders of every topic in science were eternal skeptics - and that sh1ts just not true. I believe in hidden variables. Of course, that has nothing to do with religion, and the people who speak to this in physics are atheist.... however we'll assume that's some ignorant religious indoctrination.
