If Overnight or Timmy Turner were dropped the right way his narrative could have been very different for his career. Also if he didn’t act so damn hype all the time or drop that whack do where he was trying to actually rap lol.

I don't want him to be lyrical miracle, but damn does he need to rhyme "Window Shopper" with "Window Shopper", with "Window Shopper"?
Did the world really need another "Pump It Up" like Joe Budden line?
He could be saying more interesting things without sounding rappity rap. That hurts in the long run, without qoutables the song is just something hot for the moment.

Even if he doesn't improve he's still going to have a great year if he stays free. Dude has a lot of savoir faire for a guy who only know 100 words.

I agree and the way they even handled it. It was some kind of miscommunication as to when it was gonna drop it and then when it did drop it was so poorly promoted people didn't know it came out. If I was him I would have cursed out everyone managing me at the time because they did a piss poor job and made a bad call instead of just releasing the mixtape or releasing videos for the tracks. It seems they kept stalling too much and let the moment pass them by.

There is no reason Timmy Turner wasn't a hit but they over did it, over thunk it and Mike Dean over produced it. Desiigner had the talent imo.
