The song rides, but imo he didn't need Travis. I was hoping Miguel would delve deeper into the eclectic RnB lane that he's been dominating. As cool as this song is it sounds like the Migos, Rae Sremmurd, Uzi, or Travis Scott could get on this with ease. I see Miguel as bigger, more self sustained, and more talented than his contemporaries. I like the song, but I'm still disappointed, and that's a testament to the high regard I have for Miguel's artistry. Then again, I ain't nobody and what the fukk do I know? This could be a great move.:manny:

Agree with this. But at the same time the last album went wood, so unless he wanted to get dropped..........

Sparking blunts in the shade.

He did 65k first week, which is solid, but I most definitely see your point. I think low album sales are just to be expected these days. The only rnb singers that are going to receive big sales in the future are white cats. But the music from Miguel's last project still has strong youtube views and twitter mentions, and it came out 2 years ago. This song came out two weeks ago, and has just over 5 million views, which is good, but not a super smash for an artist of Miguel's caliber. I feel it would be better for him in the long run to continue to cultivate a cult following, and get most of his bread from shows. But I don't know what his deal is looking like and how RCA is pressuring him. I do know they're going for a pop smash with this song, and if the album follows suit and falls short of expectations, he'll be in danger of alienating a big chunk of his core fan base and still not connecting with a mainstream audience. We'll see how it plays, I'm anxious to see what's cooked up either way.

He definitely needs T.Scott

Putting Wale on Coffee was a terrible decision

This song been in my head all day. Miguel is crazy talented and underrated.

His last album Wildheart was great. Not what many were expecting but still great.

Miguel has a good voice but do y'all not care that this song was either written by Swae Lee or for him and would be bigger song with Swae lee performing it?

and Wild Heart is :trash:
