Honestly, I'm not a fan of the "content era" and video breakdown bullshyt.

That has more to do with current fans of hip-hop and people looking to make content from it and less with Kendrick.

I like watching the video, seeing what I catch myself and then rewatching it to see if there's anything I missed.

Same thing I've done. I'm not watching a 30 minute video of a nikka breaking down a 3 minute video.

Just saw one of the dancers say he was not there and they were all dancing to just a random instrumental not knowing it was for him. He was CGI’d into the video.

It would take a well known NY rapper to put NYC back on the map with a regional sound, someone around Kendrick age. Unfortunately most NYC rappers are :flabbynsick:

Only person who fits that description is Asap Rocky :francis:
I'm late but nah. It has to be a young cat who's actually elite. At most a Jay Elec type who's not young but still new and unlike him willing to be productive and commercially viable.

An already established artist won't be a "friend/big bro" type that the demographic who determines what's what (25>) can identify with.
