I was thinking the exact same thing.

It would be tough to sell it since he’s one of the few legit A1 stars, but I feel like he needs to do a cameo in a comedy. Kinda like the guy who comes in and just says wild shyt but in his Denzel way. I think he’d body it.

This isn’t a good example, but kinda like Tom Cruise in Tropic Thunder. Not playing an outlandish character like that, but someone who comes in 3/4 into the movie and just kicks it up a notch.

I think it’ll come a little later when Denzel just stops caring

Denzel still has his brand as a serious no bullshyt actor to uphold tho

Good interview.

Watching this, I was thinking the late night talk show interview format is definitely in full decline.

Used to love Arsenio, Letterman and Conan...but these smaller intimate interviews, you really get to see the interviewees real personality.

Dude needs to do a comedy. I thought he was gonna do an Uptown Saturday Night remake with Will Smith but I don’t think it ever got off the ground

If he does, it's gotta be a huge improvement over the ones he did already.

His first film was a comedy. It was called Carbon Copy. He played George Segal's son. :snoop:

His other straight up comedy was called Heart Condition. He plays the dead man Bob Hoskins gets a donor heart from. This shyt looked terrible.:beli: Didn't see it.
