the Pentagon is a part of the DOD they have Military and DOD security that work in the area. I have legitimately never heard of pentagon police. Each branch has Military Police assigned to the pentagon to provide security to include the investigation units. The Pentagon police must be some type of contract support type of thing.

My only assumption is that since these people are permanently assigned to the pentagon kind of like the military installations have the civilian police on post. Didn't the government police do the same thing to Miriam Carey, but didn't get much uproar about it, not even from Black people. Well, this is what happens when we ignore things like this. I believe a combination of all these reasons I mentioned on this thread, gave this fool reason to think he was justified. Actually, the first two I mentioned were probably motivators, while the murder of Miriam Carey made him feel he was justified, especially after they slained her a mile or so away from the Capitol.
