I met Joe before interviewed him twice in two days, once in Philly and once in New York. He was the man, saw him with Al Harrington signing there ugly ass shoes for kids at K-Mart. Fat Joe knows damn well those K-Mart kicks are whack but Fat Joe is for the kids.

Can some one summarize the interview, I'm at work

*Says there were some lazy people in Terror Squad which is why it didn't out. Said he put 1.8 Million into Cuban Linx album but it still failed. Said he got Tony Sunshine 5 music deals but it didn't work. Said Remy caused some drama but he had love for her. Said he's still cool with other members. Said Khalid was his brother

*Claim his accountant mess up his taxes and the court acknowledged that but said he was responsible. He paid the IRS back all the money.

*Said New York fell off cause everyone was beefing with each other and trying to take the top spot. Said tons of New York Popular Rappers live in Miami

*Said him and Biggie were the original "Twinz" and was going to do an album together. They recorded about 4 song which would of been during the Life After Death era. Because Biggie had co-signed Joe he ended up signing a Label deal with Atlantic which Biggie had his own side Label there with Lance and they were blowing up with Junior Mafia and Lil Kim. He claims him and Big were mad cool and he gave Biggie his very 1st show for a G and a bottle of moet. As far as Biggie Vs Pun he didn't comment he just said Big was the Blueprint and that Pun needs to get more respect as one of the GOATS.

I'm sure some people will say Joe sugarcoated the real issues with the Terror Squad and I'm sure Cuban, Remi and Tony have different sides of what happen with Joe. But it was a good interview.

Damn the homie 2pac was gon ride for Big on DJ Clue...:ohhh:

Joe always comes through with the dope interviews.
Big and Pac was gonna put the tool the clues dome.. :ohhh:

You guys have to remember, this was before the beef and Pac was supporting Biggie heavily before "Ready To Die" dropped and he even went to the album release party as show in the "Notorious" film. Pac was also making songs with Biggie during this time for "Thug Life" album. Biggie really did want to Kill Clue for leaking "Ready To Die" songs.

Clue was straight up in hiding cause Big was furious but something strange happen. After the songs leaked and everyone was loving it, Big started to give out bootleg copies of his albums for free in the hood to market it this is why "Ready To Die" had a huge amount street buzz. Puffy didn't find out Big was doing this till later. So I'm sure while Big was mad he told Pac clue was leaking his sh!t.

If what he said is true, this just proves that the feds are out for these celebrities so they can prove a point when it comes to paying taxes. nikka said the person before him hadn't paid taxes in YEARS and didn't get ANY jail time at all, while he WENT to the IRS, paid his taxes, and STILL got 4 months in the joint :wtf:
I don't believe all of his story. No way you pay your taxes and still get time. Do you know how many people would be sitting in jail or on probation because of taxes.

Real dude, terrible artist. :yeshrug:

I don't agree. I think Fat Joe is slept on. Yes Pun came through and surpassed him with a quickness but Joe was still nice. He even got Big's attention during the Height of his popularity. Yes he dropped a lot of subpar albums after Pun's death but he His 1st 3 or 4 album and the 1st Terror Squad album were dope. He held his own on the "I Shot Ya" remix too and Pun was actually in the video. It's funny cause I saw that video 1,000 times and when I got Capitol Punishment in 98 I went back like, "Hold Up, Pun in this, Damn I wish he had verse", lol:

It's crazy cause I just so happen to be bumping "Don Cartegena" yesterday and that album aged very well.

CLASSIC CLASSIC underrated album man. Who was their production team? Those beats were :whew: btwn that and capital punishment....and he was obviously getting verses ghostwritten by the TS camp, who was all nasty btw, but who cares that album was dope as fukk...."The Crack Attack" was such a crazy opening track too...and the solo track "My Prerogative" by Armageddon was piff as well...this album deserves its own thread.

The Production was ridiculous on that album. They had Premo, Rashed Smith, L.E.S., Marley Marl, Puffy's Hitmen, Ski, Buckwild, Beatnuts just a great well rounded sound of producers. Pun also really shined on this album with hooks and verses. Had Pun Lived, Joe would became even bigger. Pun on the "Lean Back" beat? OMG I can dream right.
