Yall are right Ross would sound great on this, Come to think of it the way jim jones is rapping now he’d have a great verse too

Ross does so many of those type faux soul songs now and this was such a generic version of that, I wonder about that honestly

Welp I guess I'll go back to the joints they did on the Judas and Black Messiah and move on from this one.

They both did their things...they did them. You love Nas for painting pictures with words and just saying shyt that sounds dope...you got that. You love Jay-Z for his wordplay and entendres and his prestige/coolness on the mic, you got that. Idk why yall have to make it a competition...but I will partake, lol. l think it's a preference thing, off the first few listens I prefer Jay-Z's verse only because I am a wordplay, double/triple meaning type of fan at this point in my hip hop fandom...and even beyond that he was saying some hard shyt. But even saying that its madd close, it's a 51% to 49% thing, Nas was dope on here...I could probably end up liking his verse more than Jay-z's the more I listen.

The video itself is kind of ass tho, madd underwhelming and boring, it actually makes the song feel more blah than it is.

Why nas sound like he was rapping in a ventilator

overall i liked it, that hook was absolutely terrible though like sheesh, jay definitely had the more entertaining verse but Nas did his thing, felt like they held back

Boring song and a boring, weird video. Y'all notice Jay didn't acknowledge Nas the entire video. I'm sure it was editing but they should have noticed that. Most Khaled songs are great on paper....

Song is MUCH better than the actual video.

They both ripped it but Nas got the standout verse with the cryptocurrency line. You can tell he’s SUPER hyped off that shyt :russ:

So with this joint, Black Republican, Success and I Do It For Hip Hop i’m convinced Nas and Jay could lock in and actually make a really dope collab album if they so desired
You know Carmen mad as hell.
