I mean Jay was "retired" when Jeezy Blew

He was not retired man. 2 years of no album isn’t a retirement. He was getting cold and probably had a writers block. But, Jeezy was hotter than Jay in 06 (Kingdom Come).

I don't know a lot about him...but QC is legendary....the whole movement....Wouldn't think a guy like that would say something like this

Jeezy had the streets on lock in 05. They were playing him everywhere. From the South to the East Coast, to the West Coast.

05 Jeezy - Trap Or die, TM101
05 Jay - Linkin park & retired
06 Jeezy - TM102
06 Jay - Kingdom Come
08 Jeezy - Recession
09 Jay - Blueprint 3
11 Jeezy - TM103

who was hotter during this time? Jeezy kept on building, Jay kept getting colder.

Collision Course was 2004 right

jeezy was really cold by 2010/2011, TM103 was a let down across the board. He put out dud after dud around that time, he didn't recover until 2014 to me.

and 2009, Jeezy had limited commercial appeal, and Jay was back with the big singles from BP3

but for the time in question, 2005/2008, I think that's accurate.

you can say the same for Weezy & T.I.

But by the time 2009 and onwards hit, no matter how you feel about the music bp3 & to a greater extent WTT were blockbusters
