As an attorney, I don't think she has a formidable case at all.

She'll be very lucky if this survives a summary judgment/motion to dismiss.

Plus, the court costs and the negative stigma she'll gain from all this isn't worth it.

Wouldn't she have better luck with a suit charging individuals. She claims fellow actors racially abused her etc..

But CBS/Sony employed those individuals and those individuals were acting as employees when they allegedly discriminated against Rowell. Thus, CBS/Sony would be vicariously liable for their actions. Moreover, she'd get more $$$ suing CBS/Sony instead of individual actors.

Why is she trying to get a job back for an actress. I've never heard any politicians doing that. I know Victoria Rowell has been involved with AA organizations, so maybe its just using resources you have available. :yeshrug:

Well, she was a CA congresswoman and CBS operates heavily in CA as a major employer. So if she could get Maxine Waters to get the state government involved in a racial discrimination matter, that would really put a lot of pressure on CBS. And that would give Waters more exposure and influence. Keep in mind that Congresswoman Waters is also a black woman. :yeshrug:

Nothing is impossible or out of the ordinary in Hollyweird.

Think of what actresses do for a career-altering role in a movie or a TV show.

The casting couch is real.

My fault. But what do you have to say about this?
she should have caused a ruckus like the gay guy on Grey's Anatomy. If she was under a contract I'm sure she couldn't just quit the show so what else could she do other than hold her ground at the job and expose them in the media. She look like she would act white though....
