Wasn’t my most anticipated album of 2017, but I follow the whole Chicago scene closely, and was looking forward to Vic’s proper debut.
What was disappointing about it? He still really hasn't figured out his sound yet, so it was a lot of various vibes on here, but overall it was a solid release.

At least he doesn't sound like a Chance clone anymore on his stuff

I agree with you on not figuring out his sound.

After 16 Shots and some of the features he had with KAMI and others I thought that he had a certain sound and direction he was going. Turns out I was wrong.

I fukk with the tracks he got with Kami. I wasn't really feeling 16 Shots tho. He's got a lot better songs than that on this album than that joint.

He's just got to find the right balance with the singing and rapping. Might be a good idea to separate the 2 with their own respective projects where he can just do songs where he's rapping and vice versa

@Dead End you were disappointed but was the album bad to you?

It's not a bad album. Definitely has its moments. Just wasn't as good as I hoped. Vic got crazy talent, but it seems sometimes he's trying to please everyone with his music and he spreads himself thin. Doesn't sound like a cohesive album. The songs seem more like they were created in isolation from each other, with a specific, different audience in mind for each one.
