Well, yeah. He can enter his plea of not guilty by reason of insanity. It is up the district attorney's office to prosecute him for the multiple murders. It's minimum multiple life sentences for each murder. But I'm sure the relatives would be more satisfied with a guilty verdict and death sentence.

His attorneys will be allowed to plead guilty by reason of insanity. They still have to PROVE that and then a jury has to find him not guilty by reason insanity.
