Or realize that 1 pirated product does not equal 1 sale... they act like they are gonna see an increased return on people not pirating shyt. People who pay are gonna pay regardless. People who don't pay aren't gonna magically start supporting shyt ... They're just gonna find other means to get stuff or stop pirating :youngsabo:

That too. These old fukks in these offices think that people are gonna go BACKWARDS to go back purchasing shyt that they may/ may not like:why:

I'm a scumbag pirate. Anything I can get for free I will. And I'm not going to pretend I'm one of those if I like it I'll buy it types. I won't. I'm the target of these measures. And people like me aren't going to start magically buying shyt again. All this wasted money could be spent on innovation.

And didn't the movie industry have a record year? fukk these guys. :pacspit:

I'm talking about Verizon broadband not wireless. I've had both and yes wireless has great CS but they are separate entities

...what's to stop someone from just canceling their service if they get throttled and going with another service...this seems like something to keep the music and movie industry happy IMO

Verizon is one of five major Internet service providers along with AT&T, Comcast, Cablevision and Time Warner Cable -- who have partnered with the recording and movie industries on a new strategy to deter copyright violators.

Time Warner Cable's plan is similar to Verizon's, but instead of throttling Internet speeds of accused copyright violators, the company plans to temporarily suspend their service until they call a customer service representative and agree to stop pirating copyrighted material, according to spokesman Alex Dudley.

they will also start enforcing the bandwidth limit in your connection

better start using proxys and such to download files

You have to sign a contract on most plans and pay an etc to cancel unless you move somewhere without service

Say breh does anyone have any insight on how this shyt might work with the torrents they track? Lets say u have a private ring that is still going strong.....u think they will be found just as easy or do they get it from a diff file source then all TPB dudes? Or since they all source from the ' same ' place they can shut all this shyt down?
