First, no one should be blindly voting for anyone. Second, you're not going to get something by doing nothing, especially reparations. Even though we are owed, I personally don't believe it will ever happen, given how congressional elections work and the role of the Supreme Court. Third, that's not how you hold politicians accountable. You organize and run candidates who support reparations during primary contests. You don't just sit on your hands. And you don't ignore midterm elections. The reality is that most Black voters don't condition their vote on whether a candidate supports reparations or not.
