Also, I understand ppl are dismayed that he might not actually land in a cell, over this crime but it is jmportant that he is still convicted.

There are polls that show a lot of casual voters have not been paying attention to politics like that. As we get closer to the election, narratives will form and more of those casuals will be paying attention. This being a big news story heading into the election does not bode well for Trump. It’s one of these reasons why he tried to delay all these trials until afterwords.

Seeing “convicted felon and former president Donald Trump” matters. It’s not so much about MAGA voters, but independents and swing voters. There are also polls that show a conviction changes the likelihood those independents and swing voters would vote for him (10-20% claim they would be less likely to vote for him if convicted)


Look what happened to Hilary before the election. She wasn’t even convicted of anything but the investigation definitely hurt her. It’s why Trump paid to bury the porn star stories in the first place.

Best case scenario is they lock him or use it to force him off the ballot. If the Republicans put anyone who isn't a lunatic up, Biden is super cooked.

Why would this ever happen. The GOP belongs to Trump. If they tried going with someone else, the magats would destroy them and we'd have another January 6th. Them cacs weren't just there for the Dems, despite what the Trump sycophants in Congress are pushing. Ask Pence.

Republicans will be trying to shut you down, trying to make YOU feel guilty for rejoicing in this moment after trump was found guilty.

I say fukk that.

We've been following this shyt show for years, and when MAGA wasn't calling for Hillary Clinton to be jailed, we've been mercilessly ridiculed and trolled every time trump avoided legal accountability.

trump has pointed his own crooked finger at others and shamelessly called to "lock her/him up" without there even being a crime.

No evidence.
No Grand Jury.
No due process.

But trump got all of that AND MORE. He was afforded every bit of fairness under the law, and then some. He repeatedly violated gag orders, attacking the judge, his daughter, witnesses, and even the jury.

He had MILLIONS of other people's dollars that he used to secure the worst lawyers money could buy.

He got to go home every night, instead of having to eat shytty dry bologna sandwiches in central booking.

And a jury of his peers -- which HIS attorneys helped select -- were the ones who convicted him. Hell, there was even one who gets their news from Truth Social!

They listened to witnesses and saw evidence presented for weeks, deliberated carefully, and delivered their UNANIMOUS verdict.

This wasn't rigged, and you should doubt anyone who ONLY says things are rigged when he loses.

I'm glad because, at least for ONE day, my faith in the justice system has been temporarily renewed. Despite his "wealth" and his power and connections, Donald trump was FINALLY convicted.

You can, and should, feel good about it, because any of us would already be serving time behind bars for any and all of the 88 counts he faces.

And I've said it many times before, I'll say it again: We don't defeat him in the court; we defeat him and trumpism at the ballot box.
