To you "red wave" Brehs.

You'd think there would be a MAGAt on the jury out of 12 people. The one MAGAt could have just refused to cooperate and it would have hung the jury.

But. Instead of half of them being Trump supporters.. which would reflect the narrative that Trump is neck and neck with Biden.. every one of them went along. Suggests that the MAGAts aren't as deep as they would have you believe.

And 1 out of 12 would have been a small minority and he didn't even have that.

Some might act like this doesn't mean anything but it does. With this conviction, the odds of him winning are slimmer now than before.

The GOP/Republicans definitely aren't excited about this because now they have a defacto candidate who in some ways already threw away the race. Which at this point, it'll have to be a miracle of some sorts for Trump to win with these conviction charges looming over him.

They have no choice but to run him at this stage of the campaign, it's too late for them to ride with another candidate. Honestly, this is the last go-around for Trump's chances of reelection, if he loses in November, conservatives won't back him in 2028.
It wrecked his chances and hurts their money. The convention in July will be interesting.

Of course, the abortion issue wrecked it, too. Jan 6th, too. Oh well. Both siders say polls have him reelected so he shouldn't worry.
